I’ve never been much into guitars, but there is one guitar technique that’s incredibly useful for techno: using guitar amps to give grit and character to sounds! In this video I explore how music producers can use guitar amps to give their sounds a strong stylistic push towards punk-ness, and also how the added character in the mid frequencies can help sounds translate better across sound systems.
