How can you add effects and layers to a sound, without taking anything away from a sound?
Let met introduce you to the concept of “parallel processing”: doubling the signal chain for sounds, affecting them individually, and then merging them back together. The same concept leads us to creating dub effects, and layering instrument sounds.
I show this in Ableton Live, but the concept is universal and applies in all DAWs!
